About Us
Health Claims Plus is a
professional medical insurance billing & collection center. We have
dedicated ourselves to the challenging and rewarding fields of EMS &
Fire.
What began as a small
home-based business in 1993 has flourished into an exciting and
successful company located in historic Liberty, Texas.
Our dedicated staff has
over fifty years collective experience in the medical billing arena, and
is always ready and willing to assist you in any way possible.
Despite our wealth of
experience, we believe in continuing education. Our staff attends
classes, national & local seminars, and workshops to stay abreast of the
ever-changing federal, state, & local insurance laws. We can
assure you that our customer service representatives will always be
friendly and helpful to your patients.

Our Role
Can you imagine being
unavailable to respond to a patient in need and then getting an
unqualified or untrained person to do the job for you? Not a pleasant
thought. And yet that's the approach often taken when it comes to
filing insurance claims. Claims reimbursement is important and proper
filing is the key to maximum payments.
Health Claims Plus
offers EMS providers cost-efficient account management services. We
have three basic goals:

Technology
Unlike most billing
companies and in-house billing personnel, Health Claims Plus invests
heavily into going above and beyond technological requirements and
standards of the medical billing industry.
Our data is stored on
secure Dell server systems, running Microsoft Server 2003 software, and
locked tightly behind our secure network, which is monitored & protected
by software, hardware, and human personnel each day. Even though
our data is secure on our network, we make daily backups of our server
systems to ensure protection in the event of technological failure or
natural disaster.
All of our employees use
up-to-date workstation systems, most Dell, running the latest versions
of Microsoft Windows XP Professional--always up-to-date with the
latest updates and security patches. Our network servers and
workstations are protected and monitored for Virus activity by Network
Associates.
Health Claims Plus is also
proud to offer a secure client area, which allows our clients to view
real-time reports for their accounts, as well as important announcements
and communications from our company and staff members.
We also offer a custom
electronic run reporting software developed by the STATco company, which
allows providers to key runs electronically, submit them to our office
via the Internet, and report the data to TDH (Texas).
